1. The Pt. Huron – Sarnia Stamp Club was founded in 1935.

2. The first stamp show was in 1938 at the Harrington Hotel in Pt. Huron.

3. The Sarnia Stamp Club and the Sarnia – Pt. Huron Stamp Club undertook to host the 1959 annual convention of the Canadian Philatelic Society.

".....When the Postmaster General took the podium, the faithful took close note when he announced that Her Majesty graced the Society with the Royal appellation.  Henceforth, the Society would have in its title the word “Royal.” (per: RPSC article - Randy Evans 2024)
